TTS combines education and research

We provide vocational training in technical fields with modern tools in a diverse learning environment. Employment outcomes are strong: around 70% of our graduates continue their studies or find a job.

TTS – The Work Efficiency Institute is a unique organisation that combines education with research and development services. Our goal is to improve productivity by making work more efficient, enhancing performance, and supporting cost management.

Organization

Decision-making bodies of TTS – The Work Efficiency Institute:

General Meeting
The general meeting is held once a year. It reviews the financial statements, the annual report, and elects the chairpersons and members of the Council. It also decides on membership fees.

Council
The Council usually meets once a year. It decides on the association’s strategy, approves the financial statements, elects the chairperson and members of the Board, and makes decisions about major purchases and sales of assets.
The chairperson of the Council is Matti Vanhanen.
The vice-chairpersons are Mikko Tiirola, Chair of the MTK Forest Council, and Outi Mäkelä, Municipal Manager of Nurmijärvi.

Board of Directors
The Board meets six to seven times a year. It approves the association’s action plan and budget and oversees the group’s operations.
The chairperson of the Board is Industrial Counsellor Arto Tiitinen.
The vice-chairperson is Jyrki Wallin, Executive Director of MTK.

Managing Director and Management Team
The Managing Director is responsible for daily operations and reports to the Board.
The Managing Director, Teemu Hassinen, also serves as chairperson of the Management Team.
